Required Materials to make a Stick
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to craft a stick:
How to craft a Stick in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make a Stick
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a stick, place 2 wood planks in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When crafting with wood planks, you can use any kind of wood planks, such as oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, crimson, or warped planks. In our example, we are using oak wood planks.
When making a stick, it is important that the wood planks are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. There should be 1 wood plank in the middle box in the first row and 1 wood plank in the middle box in the second row. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a stick.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the 4 sticks will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Stick to Inventory
Once you have crafted sticks, you need to move the new items to your inventory.
Congratulations, you have made a stick in Minecraft!
